FMS was the EMI/RFI consultant for the 335,000 sq. ft., $224 million Physical Science Facility Campus funded by Department of Energy’s Office of Science, the National Nuclear Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

FMS’ Services included multiple computer simulations of fields from variety of magnetic field sources, including transformer and network vaults, switchboards, conduit risers, bus-ducts, vehicular traffic, and elevator systems. Final report included of a mixture of low EMI mitigation design strategies, including source relocation, manufacturer tool hardening, and passive and active shielding systems.
